It is with great excitement that I extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you as the new Cloverdale High School Principal. As I step into this role, I am truly honored to become a part of the close-knit Cloverdale community and embark on a journey of learning, growth, and collaboration together.

 

I believe in the power of partnership – collaboration between educators, parents, students, and community members. By working together, we can continue to create an atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, a lifelong love for learning, and the concept of CHS being a second home for students. I am committed to preserving the uniqueness of the Cloverdale community, while also guiding the school with innovative instructional strategies.

 

My vision for Cloverdale High is to provide a high quality education through our excellent staff members. I envision CHS as a place where all students feel safe and comfortable at school, and to have them be accepted for who they are. Strong social/emotional support is just as vital as strong academic support.

 

A little about myself, I was born and raised in southern Orange County, attended college on the east coast and then started my career back in So Cal. I moved to Santa Rosa to start my full time career in education as a social studies teacher. After earning my administrative credential, for the past nine years I have been an assistant principal, vice principal and principal, all in Sonoma County high schools.

 

Once again, welcome to an exciting chapter at Cloverdale High School. I am thrilled to meet each of you and to embark on this remarkable journey together.
