Counseling Resources

Cloverdale Unified School District provides a variety of counseling, mental health, and social-emotional learning supports through our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support model. Services are provided a no cost to students or families. School Counselors at each school site, a licensed mental health counselor, and psychologists provide targeted supports to students through classroom education, small group short-term counseling, short-term individual counseling, Educationally Related Mental Health Services (for eligible students), and community mental health service referrals.

 

If you believe that a CUSD student requires support, please contact your School Counselor or Administrator for more information related to the supports we provide that may address your specific concerns. In an mental health emergency, please call 911 for emergency services or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

 

All mental health services are provided at no cost to families and students. To make sure that the district continues to have funding for these services, we ask all families and adult students to give the district permission to submit a claim for reimbursement to their health plan or insurer for mental health services the district provides. Agreeing to provide this information to the district WILL NOT result in any costs for services being passed on to you or your family. Students can continue to access mental health services at no cost regardless of whether or not you grant this permission to the district. You can also pick up a copy of this form at your child's school front office.
