Section 504
The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, commonly known as "Section 504", is a federal equal access law that requires that schools and other organizations provide appropriate accommodations to people with physical or mental impairments which substantially limit a major life activity. Cloverdale Unified School District provides such accommodations to students following an evaluation by one or more of the District's qualified evaluators, such as a school psychologist or school nurse. If you have further questions, please contact your School Administrator or the Director of Special Education and Student Services.
