The Washington School PTA is a club consisting of parents and teachers. We work together as a team to provide the students of Washington School with necessary items that the school cannot provide or is no longer able to provide, due to budget cuts, etc. We also contribute many hours to help support students in learning and having fun, such as providing assemblies, bingo and talent shows. We have done many fundraisers over the years, some of which include: catalog sales, dances, dinners, bingo, silent auctions and many others. We have been able to provide the students of Washington School with classroom supplies, a sound system, picnic benches, a beautiful mural in front of the school and many other things, including helping fund a new computer lab. Our most recent fundraiser for the 06-07 school year was the Annual Spring Adult's Dance. This fun-filled event has been held the past couple of years, in partnership with the Jefferson School PTA, Washington School Promotion and Cloverdale High School's Project Graduation; the adults-only event includes dinner, dancing and drinks, raffles and a silent auction. Our main goal is to be there to support the students in whatever they may need to help them learn and grow into happy healthy adults.
