Our District-wide Theme for 2010-11 is: "CUSD: College and Career Ready"

We are proud of what we have to offer students in our Pre K - 12 unified school district. Our emphasis is on student learning. We use 4 questions to guide all of our work to educate your child.

  1. What do we want all students to learn?
  2. How will we know they’ve learned it?
  3. How will we engage all students in relevant learning?
  4. What will we do if they do/don’t learn it?

Each student is important to the staff and community. Academic learning, creativity and social and emotional learning are emphasized.

Recent Celebrations include:

  • 10 out of 10 ranking for similar schools at Cloverdale High School (CHS) (CHS was the only school of our size to receive this distinction in the Bay Area.)
  • Cloverdale High School 6 year WASC accreditation.
  • Washington School algebra grant helps support students.
  • Superior intervention model for all students.
  • Jefferson School ACES and 21st Century Grants for after school programs.
